Dem Doesn't Know AZ Borders Mexico, Wants Boycott Anyway

U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl sent off a letter this morning to Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy West, suggesting a geography lesson.

In a speech arguing for her city to boycott Arizona over SB 1070, West said she might consider 1070 if this was Texas “which is a state that is directly on the border with Mexico.” But, she continued — in a statement forever immortalized on YouTube — “This is a state that is a ways removed from the border.”

Kyl sent her a letter noting West might be interested to know Arizona shares a border with Mexico. He also enclosed a map of the United States for her convenience, highlighting Arizona with yellow marker and scrawling “Arizona” on the margin. Read more ...
