Cokie Roberts, an occasional panelist on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," has been speaking out more than usual lately. First, she said last month that director Roman Polanski should be taken out and shot because he "raped and drugged and raped and sodomized a child."
On Sunday's "This Week," Roberts turned her gaze on actor Jon Voight (perhaps known more as Angelina Jolie's father). In a speech Thursday, Voight said that President Barack Obama "has had 20 years of subconscious programming by Rev. Wright to damn America."
Roberts called Voight's remarks "cringemaking" and said that such comments as Voight's make "you feel just very uncomfortable."
