When discussing the Fort Hood shootings on The 700 Club yesterday, Pat Robertson called Islam "not a religion, but a political system," and called for the U.S. to treat its followers "as we would members of the Communist party, or members of some fascist group."
Robertson also claimed that suspected shooter Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was only allowed to stay in his post "because of political correctness. We just don't talk about somebody's quote religion, even if the religion involves beheading infidels and pouring boiling oil down their throats."
