Obama Embroiled in 'Snooki-gate'

Snooki-Gate? President Obama was on The View today, where he charmed the audience with jokes about how he wasn’t invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding and how he had no idea who Jersey Shore’s Snooki  is. But he must be using a different joke writer these days, because he seemed to know all about the pint-sized “guidette” a few months ago during the White House Correspondents Dinner. Scandal!

 

At the White House Correspondents Dinner on May 1, Obama mentioned Snooki, along with other members of the Jersey Shore cast, when trying to incite some LOLs about his tanning tax. Obama joked “This next provision (in the health care bill) is called the Jersey Shorah. It reads, ‘The following individuals shall be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill: Snooki, JWOWW, The Situation and House minority leader John Boehner.””

 

Sadly, the joke made at the WHCD was kind of a flop (even though the rest of his routine killed.) Perhaps that’s why he’s now trying to distance himself from New Jersey’s most famous resident? Read more ...
