A Tea Party-backed Republican - who gained office vowing to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington - 'went crazy' and shouted down a constituent who questioned the power big banks have over government.
The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled during an informal surgery in a bar about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers.
Cutting off the man, the father-of-five yelled: 'I am tired of hearing that c**p. Don't blame the banks... that p***** me off.'
He then told the potential voter that he would ask him to leave if he did not stop talking.
"He will have to explain to the American people why his vision for bigger government, more spending, and higher taxes will work over the next four years when it hasn't worked in the past three and a half years.” – Sen. Rob Portman on President Obama
