Michele Bachmann used the song 'American Girl' from Tom Petty following her announcement today that she's running for president.
NBC's Kelly O'Donnell reported:
"When Bachmann left the stage (today in Waterloo), her campaign played the Tom Petty hit song 'American Girl,' turns out Petty isn't pleased, his manager says they will ask the Bachmann campaign to not to use that song, they also asked George Bush not to use any of his music.
